Tickets on Sale Now: Michiana Monologues 2013: Write On, Sisters!
Tickets are on sale now for “Michiana Monologues 2013: Write On, Sisters!” ”Michiana Monologues” is a local theater production created from writing by local women. The production is a fund-raiser for local organizations that work to stop violence in our community.
The shows are on Feb. 15 and 16 at 7 p.m., Room 158, Northside Recital Hall, IU South Bend.?
Tickets are $10 and are on sale now at the IU South Bend Box Office (NS 017) 574-520-4203. There will be a silent auction before these shows; come early to bid on an array of art, items, and services.
An additional performance will be held on Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. at?Rieth Recital Hall, Goshen College Music Center, 1700 S. Main St., Goshen.
The local music duo, The Bergamot, will open the Feb. 16 show at IU South Bend and the Feb. 21 Goshen performance.
Tickets will be available at the door for the Goshen performance. The prices are $10 for the general public and $5 for students. There will be American Sign Language interpreter for the deaf at this performance.
This year’s beneficiaries: SOS of the Family Justice Center, YWCA of North Central Indiana, Elkhart County Women’s Shelter, GLBT Resource Center of Michiana, The Young Moms’ Self-Sufficiency Program of the Youth Services Bureau, Planned Parenthood of Indiana, ?Maple City Health Care Center, and Indiana Legal Services, Inc.
