FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Students, alumni, and friends of Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) are invited to take part in the 4th Annual Nearly Naked Mile, Wednesday, Sept. 19. Activities begin at 6 p.m. with registration, followed by judging of costumes (or lack thereof), with the actual walk or run beginning at 7 p.m. The first 200 to register online will receive a free t-shirt. Register online at ipfw.edu/nnmile.
Participants will “streak” through IPFW's Main Campus and finish at the Alumni Plaza for the After Party and dinner hosted by IPFW's alumni association, Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow (STAT); Intramural Athletics; Indiana–Purdue Student Government Association; and HOT 107.9.
The Nearly Naked Mile is free, although everyone is asked to bring one or more items of gently used clothing which will be donated to the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission. If you want to donate clothing items but don’t want to get nearly naked, you can drop off items in one of the collection barrels at the information desks in Kettler Hall and Walb Student Union, and at the Alumni Center through Tuesday, Sept. 18.
