IPFW to Unveil First Sculpture with Purpose™ Installation

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne’s (IPFW’s) 50th anniversary project, Sculpture with Purpose™, presented by Lincoln Financial Group, will enrich Fort Wayne with innovative sculptural bike racks. The first of those sculptures will be unveiled Thursday, Sept. 20, at 5 p.m. at the southeast corner of Freimann Square along Main Street in downtown Fort Wayne. The Artist Call for Proposal announcement will also be made at that time.

Carwein, Mayor Tom Henry, Commissioner Therese Brown, and representatives of Design Collaborative, the artist and sponsor of the first sculpture, are among those scheduled to make remarks.
